Boba Fett may not have survived long in “Star Wars.” But he’s still a major talking point.

What’s going on: The official “Star Wars” account shared a picture of the original concept art for Boba Fett, and it’s actually not that different than the character who appeared in “Empire Strikes Back.”

  • The photo shows a short and stout version of Boba Fett wearing Mandalorian armor with a pair of boot spikes.
  • “Joe Johnston’s original concept art drawings for Boba Fett give insight into the design process of the character. (Watch out for those boot spikes, Han Solo.),” the “Star Wars” tweet reads.

Context: Boba Fett has been a longtime “Star Wars” favorite, though only appearing in two films, “Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi.” His origin story was explored in “The Clone Wars” animated show, though.
