‘The Masked Singer’ season 2: Watch Thingamajig sing Kacey Musgraves

‘The Masked Singer’ will return to Fox this fall.

“The Masked Singer” released a season two preview clip that shows the masked Thingamajig singing a cover of “Rainbows” by Kacey Musgraves.

The clip, which you can watch below, shows judge Nicole Scherzinger appearing to be on the verge of tears as the contestant sings the tune.

The clip also shows off The Butterfly, who sings “Bang, Bang.”

And there’s also some brief clips of new characters, including a silver Christmas tree, a purple flower and a panda bear.

“The Masked Singer” skyrocketed to viral fame last season after earning popularity overseas for quite some time.

The show was renewed for a second season, which will begin on Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. on Fox.

“The Masked Singer” will have a special preview episode on Sept. 15, too, according to E! News.

Last month, “The Masked Singer” released a trailer for the second season that showed off new characters, including a spider-like creature, a green monster, a purple flower, an ice cream cone, a dog and a tree.

As the Deseret News previously reported, “The Masked Singer” teased more new costumes for the show, including Panda, Butterfly, Egg, Leopard, Flamingo, Skeleton, Fox and Eagle.

Last season, T-Pain won the competition as Monster. Donny Osmond and Gladys Knight were the show’s two runner-ups, having performed as the Peacock and the Bee, respectively.
