Comedian Jim Gaffigan appeared on “The Late Show” earlier this week and opened up about faith with host Stephen Colbert.
Gaffigan quipped about the “prayer-hands” emoji, which, he said, is a sort of lazy way of sending prayers to someone.
Colbert then asked Gaffigan about his faith.
“This is the only show in America where it turns to like, ‘What about your faith, Jim?’”
Gaffigan said he has a “personal relationship with Jesus.” He said he relied on his faith when his wife, Jeannie Gaffigan, suffered from a medical emergency.
