Time to return to “The Clone Wars,” it is.
Disney Plus dropped the first trailer for season seven of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” on Wednesday morning.
The animated show tells the story of Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Ahsoka and a number of familiar “Star Wars” characters as they battle in the epic Clone Wars.
Wednesday’s trailer shows Anakin and Obi-Wan inching closer to their destinies in “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.” We also see a lot of Darth Maul, the villain from “The Phantom Menace” who made his return in earlier seasons of this show and, later, “Star Wars: Rebels.”
