Last time: Federal prosecutors shared new emails about the college admissions scandal earlier this month in connection with Loughlin, as I wrote for the Deseret News.
- Prosecutors rejected a claim from defense attorneys that the feds were withholding information.
- The emails showed that Loughlin’s husband, Mossimo Giannulli, was in contact with the University of Southern California, which offered to help Giannulli with his daughter’s application to the school, according to USA Today.
- USC later confirmed the request was nothing new and that it will often reach out to prospective parents about receiving help, USA Today reports.
- USC reportedly receive information from Los Angeles’ Marymount High School that the school didn’t think Loughlin’s daughters were legit athletes, too, according to The Los Angeles Times.
