What happened: Eilish — the teenage pop star who burst onto the mainstream with her song “bad guy” — cleaned up at the 2020 Grammy Awards. Eilish took home:

• Record of the year (“Bad Guy”)
• Album of the year (When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?”)
• Best new artist
• Best pop vocal album (“When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?”)

Context: Eilish defeated pop stars Lizzo, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Lil Nas X and plenty of other big names as she wrapped up these awards.

• Eilish is the youngest artist to win album of the year at 18 years old, according to HuffPost.
• Eilish thought Ariana Grande deserved album of the year.
