SALT LAKE CITY — Justin Bieber announced Tuesday that his fifth album, “Changes,” will drop on Valentine’s Day.
The 25-year-old singer’s upcoming album focuses on themes of love and marriage — Bieber married Hailey Baldwin in 2018 — and in support of that album, Bieber is going on tour. He will perform at Salt Lake City’s Vivint Arena on June 9. Tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public Feb. 14.
The announcement comes a day after Bieber released the first four episodes of his YouTube docuseries, “Justin Bieber: Seasons.” The doc covers the singer’s past four years — from footage of his wedding to his recent battle with Lyme disease to the process of creating “Changes,” according to Billboard. The series shows Bieber’s wife, Hailey, to have a lot of influence on the new record, Billboard reported.
Bieber’s last album, the Grammy Award-winning “Purpose,” has sold more than 21 million copies worldwide, according to a Vivint Arena news release. His “Purpose” tour ran from 2016-2017, selling out 64 U.S. and 52 international tour dates before the singer canceled the remaining 2017 dates for mental health reasons.
Bieber’s upcoming show at Vivint Arena will feature special guests Kehlani and Jaden Smith.
