Meghan Markle already has a reality television offer on the table.
What’s gong on: Andy Cohen, the host of “Watch What Happens Live,” has issued an offer to Meghan Markle to join the cast of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” once she and her husband spend more time in North America, People magazine reports.
Context: The offer comes one day after Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, and her husband Prince Harry announced that they would “step back as senior members of the Royal Family,” according to the Deseret News.
- The couple announced the decision on Instagram.
- “After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.”
The offer: Cohen commented on the post: “Open invite for The Duchess to join #RHOBH !!!”
- The Bravo TV Instagram account commented on a separate post about the couple.
- Bravo: “Meghan Markle tagline suggestion: Beverly Hills is full of diamonds, but I’m the crown jewel 💎”
Social media reaction: There was a slew of reaction to the news.
