Disney Plus has updated its play of Marvel movies for several fans, making it easier for people to watch the latest and oldest films in the franchise without too much surfing.
A Reddit user recently shared the new design on the Disney Plus subreddit page. The new layout breaks down each of the films into their respective phases — including phase one two and three.
- More importantly, the films are listed in release order, making it easier for you to choose the right film to watch.
There’s also a “timeline order,” which shares how the films take place in the entire Marvel timeline.
- “The Incredible Hulk” — released between “Iron Man” and “Iron Man 2” — does not appear on the platform.
The design makes it easier to pick your desired phase and steam through the films.
Back in 2019, I participated in a Marvel movie marathon, for which I watched all 22 Marvel Cinematic films released up until that point. It was quite an experience — one that seems like a wild fantasy in the year of the pandemic. We watched films in chronological order for the marathon.
Here’s how I ranked the films after watching them in order:
- “Iron Man” (93%)
- “Avengers: Infinity War” (85%)
- “Avengers: Endgame” (96%)
- “Black Panther” (97%)
- “Captain America: Civil War” (91%)
- “Thor: Ragnarok” (92%)
- “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” (84%)
- “Guardians of the Galaxy” (91%)
- “Captain America: The First Avenger” (80%)
- “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” (90%)
- “Marvel’s The Avengers” (92%)
- “Captain Marvel” (78%)
- “Ant-Man and the Wasp”(88%)
- “Thor” (77%)
- “Iron Man 2” (73%)
- “Doctor Strange” (89%)
- “Ant-Man” (82%)
- “Avengers: Age of Ultron” (75%)
- “Spider-Man: Homecoming” (92%)
- “Thor: The Dark World” (67%)
- “Iron Man 3” (79%)
- “The Incredible Hulk” (67%)
