  • Last week, a temporary mask debuted on “The Masked Singer.” It was for a character called The Robin.
  • The Robin appeared to perform a song by Robin Thicke, one of the judges on the Fox reality show.

Who is The Robin?

The Robin took off his mask to reveal himself to be frequent guest panelist Joel McHale.

  • E! News thought the Robin might be McHale. He has often appeared on the show and had a back-and-forth battle with Ken Jeong.
  • The Robin will join the panel for the Group A playoffs next week between the Sun, Popcorn, Snow Owls and Giraffe.

An ongoing rivalry

Jeong and McHale have somewhat of a rivalry on the reality TV competition, according to The Wrap. “Masked Singer” host Nick Cannon has called it a “love-hate” relationship, while Jeong has called it “hate-hate.”

“I get why he wants me to wear a mask, because this looks like a ‘before’ and ‘after’ picture,” McHale said, according to The Wrap.
