PROVO — Brigham Young University’s Cougar Marching Band recently released a recording of the group performing the theme song from “The Mandalorian.”

“Long before mandatory mask wearing, this tune is from the TV show where face masks are a readily recognized icon,” an announcer says before the performance. “I have spoken. This is the way.”

The musicians stand in formations including a Mandalorian mask, a Yoda face and the BYU Y logo while performing the music from the popular Disney Plus “Star Wars” TV series.
