Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris recently revealed her favorite Marvel movie scene in an interview with Captain America himself, Chris Evans.

  • Evans and other “Avengers” stars participated in a fundraising event for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s campaign, along with Scarlett Johansson, Zoe Saldana, Paul Rudd, Mark Ruffalo and others.
  • The Zoom session had a trivia section where they went over Marvel’s great history.

Harris quoted Captain America during the Zoom call. She also revealed her favorite scene from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

  • “What scene from a Marvel movie, from any Marvel movie, is the most meaningful to you and why?” Evans asked.
  • “I would say when Gamora reaches out to Nebula,” Harris said. “Because my sister is very important to me and I know the power of sisterhood. I also know how sisters can fight but at the end come together as they did. It was touching at the end but each iteration of their relationship, seeing it develop, it was fun to watch and some of my favorite scenes.”

Marvel stars have been in the news recently because of these fundraising events. Controversy sprung up over the weekend about how Chris Pratt — who plays StarLord in the “Guardians of the Galaxy” films — did not appear at one of the fundraisers with the cast, prompting questions about his political and religious views.
