Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt just rushed to her husband Chris Pratt’s defense after a controversy erupted earlier this week about his political and religious beliefs.
Pratt began trending over the weekend after social media asked, jokingly, whether or not to get rid of one Hollywood Chrises (like Chris Evans or Chris Hemsworth). Social media eventually erupted in Twitter users calling out Chris Pratt for his religious and political beliefs, especially after he did not attend a fundraiser for Democratic nominee Joe Biden.
E! News asked the same question in an Instagram post.
Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt responded to the question: “Is this really what we need?”
- She added: “There’s so much going on in the world and people are struggling in so many ways,” she continued. “Being mean is so yesterday. There’s enough room to love all these guys. Love is what we all need not meanness and bullying. Let’s try that.”
Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt wasn’t the only person to defend Chris Pratt. In fact, other stars in the Marvel Cinematic Universe rushed to Pratt’s defense earlier this week, too.
Robert Downey Jr., Zoe Saldana, Mark Ruffalo and James Gunn all defended their co-star.
