PROVO — BYU Vocal Point recently released a video of the group performing a reimagined, digitized version of “The Cougar Song.”

“Rise and shout, the Cougars are out along the trail to fame and glory,” Brigham Young University’s nine-man a cappella ensemble sings.

The video includes clips of various BYU scenes, groups and classes.

“The Cougar Song” was written in 1932 by Clyde D. Sandgren, according to the video description.

“Rise and Shout with Cougar Nation,” the video description reads. “You entered to learn and have gone forth to serve with the constant reminder that the World Is Our Campus.”
