Krispy Kreme has a “sweet” way to encourage people to vote in the upcoming election — and yes, it involves free donuts.

On Election Day this year, Krispy Kreme will be giving away free glazed donuts and “I Voted” stickers to customers who stop by, according to CNN.

“If you’re out and about on Election Day, we want to thank you by giving you a free Original Glazed doughnut,” Krispy Kreme’s Chief Marketing Officer Dave Skena said in a press release, according to People magazine. “And if you didn’t get your ‘I Voted’ sticker because you voted before election day, we’ve got you covered there too.”

With more people voting by mail in this year’s election because of the COVID-19 pandemic, fewer people are likely to receive the iconic sticker this year, according to People.

But you don’t have to vote before receiving the free donut — no proof of voting is required, according to CNN. All you have to do is show up on Nov. 3.

Election Day is not the only holiday that Krispy Kreme is celebrating this year. Through Oct. 31, Krispy Kreme is celebrating Halloween with monster-themed donuts and a “Sweet or Treat” deal that’s available on Saturdays, the Deseret News reported.
