Disneyland is already setting up for the holidays, even as the park remains closed.

What’s going on?

Disneyland won’t be fully reopening for the time being. Instead, the park’s Downtown Disney District will remain open. And, as we recently learned, Buena Vista Street in California Adventure Park will also reopen with outdoor dining and shopping.

  • These areas are both getting some Christmas decorations, too.

MiceChat.com — a blog centered around Disney news, rumors and events — posted photos of the Christmas decorations that are being added to Downtown Disney.

  • “As Buena Vista Street gets ready to reopen, the holidays continue to move into Downtown Disney, with more stores rolling out their holiday displays,” according to MiceChat.
  • Marceline’s Confectionary will serve holiday treats, too.
  • There will also be Toys for Tots donation boxes in front of the World of Disney.

Disney is already leaning into its holiday spirit. The company released a new ad through the Disney UK branch that highlights the connection between Disney and family.

  • “While times change and people grow, beloved family traditions make lifelong memories that cross generations and hold us together, especially over the festive period,” the video’s description reads on YouTube.
