“Glee” star Matthew Morrison will play the Grinch in the new NBC holiday production “Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch Musical!” later this holiday season, according to Deadline.

NBC will have a new stage holiday production for winter 2020 centered around the Grinch, TVLine reports.
- Matthew Morrison, who headlined the show “Glee,” will be the title character.
- NBC will not air the show live. The production will be filmed at the Troubadour Theatre in London.
- The musical will air on Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 8 p.m. EST.

- The episode will feature classic Grinch songs “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” and “Welcome Christmas” (by Albert Hague & Dr. Seuss).
- Amelia Minto will play Cindy-Lou Who.
- Denis O’Hare will play the dog Max
- Booboo Stewart (“Descendants”) will play the younger Max.
