Cyndi Lauper’s annual benefit concert to combat homelessness has a strong lineup this year.

Stars like Cher, Dolly Parton, Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish are lending their voices to the event on Dec. 11, Today reports.

The Home for the Holidays benefit concert will stream on Lauper’s TikTok channel at 6 p.m. MT. An additional stream of the concert will air Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. MT via Lauper’s YouTube and Facebook pages. The streams are free to watch, and donations are encouraged.

The wide range of artists — also including Bette Midler, Jackson Browne, Brandi Carlile, Phoebe Bridgers, Whoopi Goldberg and Boy George — will either perform or make appearances to share brief messages, according to Today.

Lauper recently spoke with the Associated Press about her involvement with True Colors United — a nonprofit organization that she launched in 2008 — and the ways the pandemic is affecting homeless youths. In particular, she pointed to a University of Chicago study that indicates LGBTQ youths are 120% more likely to experience homelessness than non-LGBTQ adolescents. She said (via Today):

“You can say ‘Stay home, protect yourself,’ (but) what do you do if you’ve got no home? I think it’s time that we make sure all young people have access to lifesaving services without fear of violence or discrimination.

“I just think that safe and stable housing is one of the best types of health care,” she continued. “It’s a global problem that really demands boldness and empathy from people.”
