This shouldn’t come as too big of a surprise but, according to a study cited in The New York Times, Americans prepared more home cooked meals in 2020 than any other year in the past five decades. Of course, more time in the kitchen is just one of the many ways people have adapted to life amid a continuing global pandemic.

One of the unexpected advantages of the added time at home is the opportunity to hone culinary skills and experiment with new recipes.

Google’s 2020 list of top 10 trending recipes tells a story of families and individuals who learned to bake and cook a variety of unique dishes. Apparently many Americans had a longing for their annual trip to “the happiest place on earth” — two items on the list are desserts from Disneyland.

The list also features a dish that puts a keto twist on a breakfast staple.

Without further ado, here are Google’s top 10 trending recipes in order of popularity, according to TasteofHome:

  4. Disneyland Dole Whip
  5. DoubleTree cookie
