The new vividly colored Oreo line is based on her album “Chromatica,” and the cookies will be “pink-colored Golden Oreo cookies with green colored creme,” an Oreo spokesperson told the “Today” show. They will also “feature three Chromatica-inspired cookie embossments.”
Starting in January, fans can find the limited-edition cookies in packs of six, or starting today, can join the “Lady Gaga x Oreo Stan Club” to be notified when the cookies are available in a full package, according to CNN.
“This collab is inspired by the world of Chromatica, where kindness rules all things,” Lady Gaga said in a statement, according to “Today.” “I love these pink cookies with green creme, and hope they brighten your day as much as they do mine!”
In order to encourage that kindness, Lady Gaga and Oreo are also launching the “Sing It With Oreo” campaign, which starts Dec. 15, according to CNN. Fans will have a chance to send “Oreograms,” which are musical messages to friends and family, and will be entered to win prizes from Lady Gaga.
“Whether it’s to show support, share affirmations, well wishes or congratulatory messages, Lady Gaga OREOgrams are designed to inspire kindness,” Oreo said in a statement, according to CNN.
Lady Gaga’s “Chromatica,” which the cookie design is based on, was recently nominated in two categories at the upcoming 2021 Grammy awards, including for best pop vocal album, according to People magazine.
