Disneyland visitors were recently greeted by a nice surprise — Grogu, or Baby Yoda, waving to them as they walked through the outdoor dining experience.
What happened?
- Eeka (@californiadisneyfam) posted a video on Instagram that showed Grogu (Baby Yoda) visiting with guests at the Disneyland Downtown Disney District.
- It’s unclear when the video was snapped. The video appears to show guests near the Downtown Disney‘s World of Disney Store, according to InsideTheMagic.
Recent closures at Disneyland:
Disneyland has remained closed since the beginning of the pandemic. The park reopened the Downtown Disney district in the fall. But, as I reported for the Deseret News, the decision to reopen the Downtown Disney area was changed recently due to new state guidelines in California.
Specifically, the restaurants and food and beverage locations that don’t offer takeout on Buena Vista Street and Downtown Disney closed their doors in Southern California.
