Disneyland went off to work and made some significant changes to the theme park’s Snow White ride, giving it a new name in the process.
What’s going on?
Disneyland recently released new details about the Snow White ride to celebrate the 83rd anniversary of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”
- The Snow White ride will now be named Snow White’s Enchanted Wish.
What’s different?
The ride has received several updates that include “state-of-the-art audio and visual technology” and “new music, LED black lighting, laser projections and a new animation system,” according to Disney Parks.
- Guests will wait in line at the Seven Dwarfs’ mine. Snow White will dance around a table as well on the ride.
- There’s a first look video that shows off the changes, which you can see below.
Bigger picture:
Disneyland has updated the ride despite being closed during the coronavirus pandemic. The theme park attempted to reopen during July 2020, but California never issued state guidelines for theme parks. The guidelines came in the fall. But they require Orange County’s COVID-19 risk to reach a lower level than experts expect it to reach in the near future.
