Chris Pratt recently decided to end the “best Chris” debate due to his recent success in fantasy football.
What happened?
Pratt took to social media Monday to share his success in a fantasy football league, which includes Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth.
The league — called the AGBO Superhero League — is a charity fantasy league where donations go to the Special Olympics.
- Pratt said he has earned $80,000 for his charity, which is the Special Olympics Washington.
He said in an Instagram story that he already defeated Evans and Hemsworth, which cements him as the “best Chris,” according to CNN.
- “I snuck two very, very close victories off, the most recent off Chris Evans,” Pratt said. “He had beat Chris Hemsworth last week, so I guess we can finally put an end to that debate of, Who’s the better Chris?”
Why this matters
Chris Pratt was criticized back in October for his political beliefs after a seemingly fun debate about who was the “best Chris.”
It began when screenwriter Amy Berg posted pictures of four actors named Chris — Pratt, Chris Pine, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth — along with the line “One has to go” (a reference to the Twitter meme where users are asked to pick out the least popular option of something).
Social media sleuths started to dig into Pratt’s history. They decided to call him the “worst Chris” soon after, mentioning his membership in a conservative church. Others raised suspicion that he supports President Donald Trump.
