New concept art from “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” has been shared online, giving fans a new glimpse at what could have been for Episode IX.
What’s going on?
Film concept artist and comic artist Adam Brockbank recently shared concept art he designed for “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.” The concept art includes:
- Rey and Kylo Ren having a lightsaber battle on Tatooine at the moisture farm where Luke Skywalker was raised.
- Dark Rey walking around in a red uniform.
- Kylo Ren on a course for destruction.
More ‘Rise of Skywalker’ art
Plenty of concept art from “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” has been released since the film came out about a year ago. For example, one scene shows Rey about to battle an entire stormtrooper fleet, as I wrote about for the Deseret News.

There was also a concept art leak that showed Dark Rey wearing the same helmet that Kylo Ren wore in “Rise of Skywalker,” and others showed original mask designs for Kylo Ren, too.
