A new batch of Fortnite leaks may point to a collaboration with Halo, the massive online multiplayer game. And the collab might bring Master Chief to the Fortnite island.

What’s going on?

Leakers and data miners recently shared photos of what appears to be Master Chief in the menu of Fortnite, according to Polygon.

Other images show Master Chief’s vehicles, which include the Warthog and the Pelican. These vehicles have been fairly common throughout the Fortnite franchise.

Leakers said the photos can be traced back to the social media app 4Chan.

Should you believe these leaks?

Fortnite has long collaborated with outside franchises. Working with Halo might be related to Microsoft pushing back the release date of the new Halo Infinite game to 2021 instead of the 2020 holiday season, The Verge reports. The game would serve as early promotion for the new game.

Leaks seem to be a part of the Fortnite lore. For example, a few weeks back, leakers figured out that the Mandalorian might be coming to Fortnite for season 5. Indeed, Mandalorian appeared as an unlockable character in the game this week, as I wrote for the Deseret News.
