Drake’s 2010 song “Light Up” is about to take on a whole new meaning.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the Canadian rap star is launching a candle company called Better World Fragrance House that’s opening business with a line of five uniquely scented candles.
One of the new fragrances is titled Carby Musk and it reportedly smells just like the rapper himself.
Here’s how Revolve, an e-commerce site that’s selling the candle, describes the new product:
“Smooth musk fragrance is introspective as in an interpretation of your beautiful self, yet extrovertive as how you would want others to see your bold and brilliant self. Features notes of Musk, Ambers, Cashmere, Suede, and Velvet. Actually smells like Drake - it’s the personal fragrance he wears, which inspired (Better World Fragrance House).”
For those interested in the new Drake-scented wax light, Carby Musk holds a price tag of $80.00 according to Entertainment Weekly, but the item is unfortunately out of stock on Revolve’s website. However, the site does feature a “notify me when available” button.
The e-commerce site began promoting the candles on Instagram back in October. The online store posted a photo of Drake coupled with the caption, “In anticipation of @betterworldfragrancehouse launching this holiday season, we partnered with the @champagnepapi’s fragrance house to give a limited sneak peek of these 5 ultra-luxe candles.”
In addition to Carby Musk, Drake’s new line includes four other fragrances titled: Sweeter Tings, Williamsburg Sleepover, Good Thoughts and Muskoka — none of which are designed to smell like famous people.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Drake is the most recent celebrity to launch a scented candle line, following Kim Kardashian West, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kacey Musgraves among others.
