Warning: This article contains spoilers for Season 2, Episode 6 of “The Mandalorian,” titled “The Tragedy.”

“Star Wars: The Mandalorian” recent confirmed a fan theory about Boba Fett from the first season of the show during its latest episode.

What happened:

The sixth episode of the season — titled “The Tragedy” — features the Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu (Baby Yoda) heading to Tython to have Grogu connect with the Force.

While there, we see the return of a major “Star Wars” character in Boba Fett, who soars onto the planet having tracked the Mandalorian.

Fett hopes to receive his armor, which the Mandalorian had stolen from Cobb Vanth in the season’s first episode. But he’s not alone — the character Fennec is with him.

Fan theory, confirmed

The episode confirmed a fan theory from season 1. The final moment of the show’s fifth episode — which took place on Tattooine — showed a pair of spurred boots approaching the injured character Fennec. At the time, fans speculated that the spurred boots belonged to Fett.

Chapter 14 kicks off with a recap that showed that scene of the spurred boots. Later in the episode, Fett and Fennec show up together. It’s revealed that Fett helped save Fennec’s life, and now the two are linked together as Fennec looks to repay her debt.
