No one knows how many tickets will be available for the Kobe Bryant public memorial service.

What’s going on?

  • The Staples Center will host a “celebration of life” event for Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna Bryant, who both tragically died in a helicopter crash at the end of January.
  • Tickets for the event will go on sale on Feb. 19.
  • Interested parties must register before 10 p.m. on Feb. 17.
  • Registered ticket buyers will receive confirmation on Feb. 18 on how to purchase the tickets.

How many tickets are available?

  • KTLA said: “The Lakers did not disclose how many tickets will be available but noted that if the demand exceeds supply, registered fans will be randomly selected for a chance to buy tickets. The organization did not say whether or not there will be a maximum number of tickets available to each buyer.”

Other ways to watch:

  • The event will be broadcasted on most Los Angeles television stations.
