Disney will postpone the release of the live-action “Mulan” due to caution surrounding the coronavirus, according to multiple reports.

  • Disney was set to release the “Mulan” remake on March 27.
  • Disney is searching for a potential new release date for 2020, which will be announced at a later date.

More movies postponed:

  • “Mulan” will join a slew of other major blockbuster hits that will be delayed because of the spread of the coronavirus.
  • Earlier on Thursday, “A Quiet Place 2” announced it would push back its release to a later date. And “F9” — the ninth “Fast and the Furious” film — postponed its release date, too.
  • The James Bond film “No Time to Die” postponed its release date last week.
  • It’s unclear if Disney plans to postpone the release of “Black Widow,” which is set to release on April 24.
