On Sunday morning, “Star Wars” fans found that the film was officially available to download on the following platforms:

How early?

  • “Rise of Skywalker” was supposed to be released on digital platforms Tuesday, March 17.
  • Currently, the movie is only available for purchase, not rent.

What about the DVD/Blu-ray release?

  • Per Variety, the film will drop in stores on March 31.
  • Physical copies can be preordered online.

What about Disney Plus?

  • According to ComicBook.com, the film would likely drop on Disney Plus around July.
