Hale Center Theater Orem will be streaming a re-staged performance of its 2018 production of “Daddy Long Legs” online, the theater announced on Tuesday in a press release.
Many theater productions across the state and country have been canceled in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, including performances at Hale Center Theater Orem, which have been canceled until March 30 pending further recommendations from the state of Utah, according to a Facebook post from HCTO.
The streamed production of “Daddy Long Legs” will star Kelly Coombs and David Smith, both of whom were part of the 2018 cast, according to the release.
The re-staged performance is based on the direction and choreography of the original show from Director David Morgan, Associate Director and Choreographer Jenny Barlow and Music Director Justin Bills.
“Daddy Long Legs” will not be streamed live. Instead, it will be pre-recorded and available to stream to those who purchase tickets.
Tickets are available for $10 at Hale Center Theater Orem’s website. The theater will send an email with details on how to stream the performance after purchase.
Performance dates are March 27-29 and April 3-5. The show will be available to stream from 6 p.m. to midnight on the date for which tickets are purchased.
