Disneyland remains closed for the foreseeable future. But a recipe on Disney’s fan club website can bring some of its food to your home.

  • Disney shared the recipe for its “Hushpuppies from New Orleans Square” on the D23 Fan Club page, the official website for the Disney fan club.
  • The recipe is for the same hush puppies you can buy at the Blue Bayou in New Orleans Square at Disneyland.
  • The website reads: “They’re so delicious, you’ll savor these crispy little bites in exquisite silence.”
  • The recipe vary from what you taste in the restaurant since it is converted from a larger serving. Still, it’s as close as you’ll get to the real ting.
  • Visit the D23 recipe page for the full list of ingredients.

More recipes from Disney

  • Disney has been releasing recipes throughout the last month to help people cook up some food you’d normally find at the parks while they remain closed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
  • For example, Disney released the recipe for the company’s Churro Bites, which the Deseret News wrote about earlier this month. Disney released the recipe in a video that explained how to make them.
  • Soon after, Disney released the recipe for a “frozen pineapple treat” that was eerily similar to the Dole Whip (though the Disney recipe did not specify any dairy-free ice cream, which is common for the Dole Whip).
  • Disney also shared the recipe for the grilled cheese sandwich from Woody’s Lunch Box at Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
  • And don’t forget about Walt Disney’s chili recipe, which was also dropped online this month, too.
