Disneyland News

Disneyland and several other Disney Parks remain closed because of the coronavirus pandemic. So if you’re missing one of the parks’ favorite recipes, well, you can cook it up from home right now.

What’s going on:

  • Disney’s fan club website, D23.com, has an official recipe for the Blue Bayou Monte Cristo sandwich from Disneyland, which is “most popular item by far,” according to the website.
  • More than 200 Monte Cristo sandwiches are served every day, according to the website.
  • It’s so popular, according to the website, that guests requested the recipe. So Disney decided to release it. In fact, you can see an original recipe from 1967 on the D23 Fan Club websiteo.
  • Here is a screenshot of the official recipe:

You’ll want to visit the D23 page for specific instructions on how to make the sandwich. You’ll also want to cook one sandwich at a time.

Disney releases more recipes

Disney has released a slew of recipes for the first time to help people cook up some Disneyland food during the coronavirus pandemic.

The company released recipes for Churro Bites, a knock-off Dole Whip called “frozen pineapple treat” and a grilled cheese sandwich from Toy Story Land.

The D23 Fan Club website has a slew of other recipes on its website, too.
