After four years, “The Nightside Project” is returning to KSL Newsradio, according to a news release from KSL.

The show will be coming back for a limited spring season and will air on weekdays at 6 p.m. for the next three months, according to the release.

Hosts Ethan Millard and Alex Kirry will break down news and current events while trying to help listeners end their day on a happy note during the coronavirus pandemic, according to the release.

Since leaving the radio in 2016, “The Nightside Project” has continued as a podcast for KSL.

“It is going to be what Nightside has always set out to be,” Kirry said on KSL’s “Utah’s Morning News” last week, according to the press release. “We will still be basing our content on the news of the day, news of the world, news of Utah, but we are going to have a dang good time.”

As it returns to the radio, the show will feature interactive games and live interactions with the audience that were more difficult in its podcast form.

“‘The Nightside Project’ has been just awesome as a podcast, but we have such great memories of the interactions with listeners being live on the air and we are looking forward to having that back, even just for a couple of months,” Millard said in the press release.

“The Nightside Project” will be available to listen to on KSL Newsradio on weeknights from 6-8 p.m. It is also still available as a podcast, according to the release.
