“Star Wars: The Clone Wars” will air a new episode on Friday that will include Order 66, according to Disney Plus.
Disney Plus released an episode synopsis for the upcoming episode, which is titled “Shattered.”
The description reads:
After successfully capturing Maul on Mandalore, Ahsoka plans to deliver him to the Jedi Council on Coruscant. When Order 66 is declared in the midst of her journey, her world is turned upside down. Friends become foes, and enemies become allies in “Shattered” this Friday, May 1st, followed by the heart-pounding series finale “Victory and Death” on Monday May 4th on Disney+.
What is Order 66?
- Order 66 is a reference to the massive order Emperor Palpatine delivered to the Republic Army to destroy the Jedi Order.
- Order 66 occurs in “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.” In the film, Clone Troopers attack various Jedi Knights. Both Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda are two of the few Jedi who survive.
- But others — like Plo Koon on Cato Neimoidia, Aayla Secura on Felucia and Ki-Adi-Mundi on Mygeeto — are all gunned down by Clone Troopers.
Will Ahsoka Tano die?
- Ahsoka survives Order 66, which we learned in “Star Wars Rebels.” She appears in the show to help the main character, Ezra. It’s unclear how she survived the attack, though.
- It’s unclear if Ahsoka confronts her former master, Anakin Skywalker, during the attack.
