The Walt Disney Company has shared the full recipe for how to make chili using an original recipe from Walt Disney, the creator of Disney.

The recipe can be found on the D23 Fan Club website, which reads: “So wrap yourself up under your favorite blanket, slot in your favorite Disney movie and relax with the perfect comfort food — Walt style!”

The recipe reads as follows:

  • 2 pounds of ground beef
  • 2 sliced onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 12 cup of oil
  • 1 cup of chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon of chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of dry mustard
  • 1 large can of solid pack tomatoes
  • 2 pounds of dry pink beans
  • Salt

If you want to add extra punch, add the following:

  • 1 little yellow Mexican chili pepper
  • Coriander seeds
  • Turmeric
  • Chili seeds
  • Cumin seeds
  • Fennel seeds
  • Cloves
  • Cinnamon
  • Dry ginger

How to make it:

  • This is key. You’ll want to soak the beans together overnight. Then, drain them out, add water. Simmer the onions. Prepare the sauce, add in ingredients and let it simmer for an hour. Add sauce and beans in for 30 minutes.

Some context

  • The Walt Disney chili recipe comes as Disney continues to release new recipes for its food and drinks. For example, the company released the recipe for churro bites earlier this week.
  • And Disney released a recipe for a frozen pineapple treat, which is essentially the Dole Whip beverage snack.
