“Dateline NBC” released a new trailer for Friday night’s two-hour special about Lori Vallow, Chad Daybell and the two missing Idaho children.
What the trailer shows:
- The new promotional video — which runs for one minute and 26 seconds — focuses on the more horrific and disturbing aspects of the case, including the spiritual and religious beliefs of Daybell and Vallow.
- The trailer includes EastIdahoNews.com reporter Nate Eaton, who has done extensive reporting on the subject.
- It also includes brief glimpses of Colby Ryan, the oldest son of Lori Vallow, and Vallow’s niece Melani Pawlowski.
- There’s also a hint we may learn more information about text messages from Charles Vallow, the late husband of Lori Vallow.
An older trailer:
- “Dateline NBC” released its first teaser video for the special earlier this week. The video teases how “Dateline NBC” focused on the investigation after Lori Vallow was remanded to jail in Rexburg, Idaho.
- The video says: “And we’ll tell the story of what we’ve learned since that time. But this time it won’t just be us telling you. This time we’ll be speaking to insiders, Lori’s family members, who’ve never spoken before.”
- The video says: “Of course, there is that one question that’s still out there ... what happened to the children?”
When does the special air?
- You can watch “What Happened to the Children?” on NBC Friday at 8 p.m. MDT.
