Walt Disney World resort has issued disclaimers to guests who plan to visit the Disney Springs location, which reopens later this week.

Disney announced that its Disney Springs location would reopen on May 20, giving people in the United States a Disney location to visit amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

One of the disclaimers issued from Disney suggests there are risks to returning the park — risks that visitors will need to be wary of.

The website reads: “An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By visiting Disney Springs you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.”

Disney shared the official guidelines and plans for how Disney Springs will begin to reopen at the Walt Disney World resort. The plans include measures for keeping people and secure when they visit the location.

Face coverings will be required for guests to enter park. Guests will need to wear the masks throughout the park, except for when they are dining.

Temperatures checks will be required, too. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will need to go under a rescreening precaution. Testing twice means guests will have to leave the park.
