Disney has shared a new recipe to celebrate Mother’s Day — this one centered around doughnuts.

The new desert, which comes from Disney Family contributor Irene Lee, is for “Rapunzel Donuts,” which contain yellow frosting and, yes, flowers.

“One dessert we will never get tired of celebrating is donuts,” the recipe’s website reads. “They’re delicious, fun to eat, and donut decorating possibilities are endless! These delicious treats are inspired by Rapunzel, and her magical golden hair. The addition of some edible flowers will guarantee you a ‘best dessert ever!’”

Ingredients:

  • Donuts
  • Yellow frosting
  • Yellow fondant
  • Edible flowers

Directions:

  • Frost the donuts with the yellow frosting.
  • Roll the fondant into a thin layer and cut into 1/4-inch wide strips.
  • Braid the strips and place braids around the tops of the frosted donuts.
  • Add edible flowers to the braids.

Disney sent the recipe out in a newsletter featuring recipes and crafts for Mother’s Day.

Disney has been releasing a number of recipes amid the COVID-19 pandemic. It began with the release of the recipe for churro bites, followed by a “frozen pineapple treat” recipe that is similar to a Dole Whip.

Other recipes released included the grilled cheese from Toy Story Land, the PCH Grill French toast and Mickey Mouse beignets.
