DC Comics used an iconic quote from Superman as a response to the ongoing nationwide protests on police brutality, racial injustice and the death of George Floyd, the unarmed black man who died when a white police officer knelt on his neck.

- The quote comes from a 2001 Action Comics issue (No. 775) titled “What’s So Funny About Truth, Justice, & the American Way?”
