EA Star Wars released the first trailer for the upcoming video game Star Wars: Squadrons, which is set to be released in fall 2020.

What the trailer showed:

  • The new trailer shows a nervous New Republic pilot evading a TIE fighter. Both pilots escape unharmed to their home bases, where they’re instructed to continue the fight.
  • The trailer hints at the game being a multi-player squad battle between the Empire or First Order, against the Rebellion or the New Republic.
  • The game will take place after “Return of the Jedi,” which hints this could be a post-”ROTJ” scramble to bring order to the galaxy.

  • EA Star Wars shared a number of promotional photos of the game, giving fans another first-look opportunity to see the game. Scroll through the photos below.
