Disney has released a new video that shows off a sunrise at the Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort just weeks ahead of the theme park’s reopening.

What’s going on:

  • Disney Parks shared the sunrise video on its blog, which has highlighted a number of aspects of different Disney locations amid the coronavirus pandemic through the #DisneyMagicMoments campaign.
  • The video description reads: “At daybreak, the first brilliant rays of sunlight gleaming through the spires of Cinderella Castle are magical at Walt Disney World Resort. In today’s edition of #DisneyMagicMoments, we’re sharing a special sunrise surprise from the most magical place on Earth — and you can see it all in just seconds!”

Another sunrise video from Disney

  • Back in May, Disney released a time-lapse video showing the sunrise at Sleeping Beauty’s castle at Disneyland Paris, as I reported for the Deseret News.
  • The video began at 6 a.m. and rolled through to 8:15 a.m., showing a complete sunrise for the entire park.
