Jazz Gaming qualified for the second round of the Tipoff tournament after going 3-1 in group play. The Jazz won its group, which qualified the team for the knockout round.
- Jazz Gaming defeated Celtics Gaming, 92-81, in Game 1 and 75-56 in Game 2.
- Though the Jazz lost to Mavs Gaming in Game 3, 65-60, the team rebounded with a 73-69 win in Game 4.
- Rookie guard Kimanni “Splashy” Ingram greened his way to 29, 37 and 34 points in the first, second and fourth games, respectively.
- Meanwhile, Pistons GT went 2-2 in group play, losing to the 76ers (62-60) and the Nets GC (76-58). The team’s two wins were a 65-58 over the 76ers and a 89-48 rout over the Nets.
