SALT LAKE CITY — Violinist Lindsey Stirling has postponed her visit to Utah.

The former “Dancing With the Stars” and “America’s Got Talent” contestant originally planned to bring her “Artemis” 2020 world tour to West Valley City’s USANA Amphitheatre on July 11. But earlier this week, Stirling announced she has pushed the tour back to next year.

“I think many of you expected this but given the state of covid, for everyone’s safety, I have to postpone my 2020 Artemis Tour,” Stirling wrote on Facebook. “While I’m disappointed I won’t be able to see you this year, I am happy to share that dates have already been rescheduled for 2021!”

“All tickets will be honored for the new dates,” she continued. “If you have a ticket and can’t make the new show, you will receive an email directly allowing you to request a refund.”

Stirling’s Utah show is now scheduled for July 10, 2021, at USANA Amphitheatre.

The violinist’s last performance in Utah was the Christmas-themed Wanderland tour in 2018. In promoting that tour, Stirling told the Deseret News that she hopes people will find her shows entertaining and that they “leave feeling inspired.”

“I pray every night before I go onstage that whatever someone is searching for that they will feel what they need to feel during the show, whether it is self-love, hope or courage to go after something,” she said. “I hope that people gain a message that they can take with them.”
