Zach Hudson — the stunt double for Orlando Bloom in the trilogy of “Pirates of the Caribbean” films — recently revealed the most troubling scene for him to film.

What’s going on:

Hudson recently said the wheel fight scene from “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men’s Chest” was the scene he remembers most from filming. He said it was a difficult scene to film since he had little to no training, per CinemaBlend.

Not familiar? Here’s that scene:

“The wheel fight, I had not rehearsed or had time on it. I literally had about a week to prep for it. Gore Verbinski was the director and it was very much a baptism by fire! I had to do all the wire work involved on top of the wheel and the whole fight actually won the Taurus award for best fight.”

The Taurus award is given to the best stunt performances in films. “Pirates” won the award in 2004 for the fight scene between Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) and Will Turner (Bloom) in the blacksmith shop, too, according to Cinemablend.

Updates on ‘Pirates of the Caribbean 6’

There are still several remaining questions about whether a sixth “Pirates of the Caribbean” film will be released in the near future. As I wrote for the Deseret News, a draft is currently in the works with Disney. And there are some rumors that Karen Gillan may be the new lead for the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise.
