It’s National French Fry Day, and a new poll reveals which fries Americans enjoy most.

What’s going on:

A new poll from National Today revealed the top restaurants for french fries after surveying 1,000 Americans about fries. The top five looks like this:

  • McDonald’s (35%)
  • Chick-fil-A (13%)
  • Five Guys (12%)
  • Wendy’s (11%)
  • Arby’s (11%)
  • Burger King (7%)
  • In-N-Out (4%)
  • Sonic (3%)
  • Shake Shack (3%)
  • Carl’s Jr. (2%)

But this only tells us where people enjoy to get fries. Luckily, the poll revealed which types of fries people enjoy most as well.

  • Regular (21%)
  • Curly (20%)
  • Steak-cut (14%)
  • Crinkle (13%)
  • Wedges (7%)

  • 33% said no.
  • 21% said yes.
