Crocs and KFC collaborated to create a shoe that smells like fried chicken. Here’s what we know
KFC x Crocs Classic Clog’s were released Tuesday and they include a fried chicken smelling Jibbitz charm.
Crocs and KFC just released a new shoe together. But if you want a pair, you might have to wait. According to Business Insider, the limited edition shoe KFC x Croc Classic Clogs sold out in a matter of 30 minutes.
The shoes depict a bucket of chicken, with the sole being the iconic red and white striped chicken bucket pattern and the top is covered in fried chicken print. The shoes also include a drumstick Jibbitz charm attached to the top that smells like fried chicken, according to ABC News.
Don’t let the smell of fried chicken tease you, the fine print states, “these Crocs are not for human consumption,”
Crocs tweeted a picture of the shoe saying, “Good things and Crocs that look like a bucket of fried chicken come to those who wait.”
Coming soon! The saying is true, good things and Crocs that look like a bucket of fried chicken come to those who wait. Kentucky Fried Chicken x Crocs Classic Clogs are finally being served on July 28th at 12 PM ET. #KFCCrocs @kfc https://t.co/yI9I36nf3N pic.twitter.com/dtY3vIxrDQ— Crocs (@Crocs) July 23, 2020
The fried chicken crocs made their original debut back in February at New York Fashion Week when South Korean artist Me Love Me A Lot (MLMA) displayed a platform version of the shoe. She also appeared in a commercial for the shoe and is seen removing them from a deep fryer.
