“Fortnite” will host another new event on its Party Royale island, airing a showing of “We The People” on Saturday, which is a series of conventions about race relations in the United States, Epic Games announced Friday.

  • The program — hosted by CNN’s Van Jones — includes multiple speakers, such as Jemele Hill, Van Jones, Elaine Welteroth, Lil Baby and Killer Mike.
  • The conversation will center around systemic racism in America, especially in the media, culture and entertainment sector.

How to watch:

  • Launch “Fortnite” on Saturday morning.
  • Jump in “Battle Royale” mode.
  • Enter the “Party Royale” playlist.
  • Head to the big screen.
  • Watch the event, which begins at 9:46 a.m. ET.
  • The showing will re-air throughout the day.

Some context:

  • Fortnite added a new location to the game called Party Royale, a nonviolent social location separate from the main fighting island. The area will include live shows and entertainment experiences for people playing the game to see live.
  • The location has included guests such as Thomas Wesley, Young Thug and Noah Cyrus.
  • Fortnite also screened three different Christopher Nolan films, including “Inception,” “Batman Begins” and “The Prestige.”

Fortnite hosts performances

  • This isn’t the first time that Fortnite has aired different performances within the game. Diplo, Deadmau and Travis Scott all hosted virtual shows within the game. And a trailer aired for “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” within the game.
