SALT LAKE CITY — Taylor Swift is very much in the public eye, but one thing she’s managed to keep private for more than three years is her relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn.

But a post from Alwyn’s Instagram reveals that the couple took a recent getaway to Utah.

On Aug. 6, Alwyn — who hadn’t posted on Instagram for more than two months — posted a scenic photo of him standing in front of a lake, with a mountain view in the background.

Swift and Alwyn spent a few days in Utah before heading to California, according to E! Online

“Taylor has been based in Nashville, but she just went to Park City, Utah, for a few days with Joe,” a source close to the couple told E! News. “They’re back in L.A..”

The Utah vacation comes two weeks after Swift unexpectedly dropped her eighth studio album, “Folklore.”

“Most of the things I had planned this summer didn’t end up happening, but there is something I hadn’t planned on that DID happen. And that thing is my eighth studio album, ‘folklore,’” Swift said, according to the Deseret News

“Before this year, I probably would’ve overthought when to release this music at the ‘perfect’ time, but the times we’re living in keep reminding me that nothing is guaranteed,” she continued. “My gut is telling me that if you make something you love, you should just put it out into the world. That’s the side of uncertainty I can get on board with.”
