There’s a new version of the Nintendo Switch coming out soon, and it’s solely based around the battle royale game Fortnite.

What’s going on:

Nintendo will be releasing a special edition console based around Fortnite, Nintendo Life reports.

  • The console will have yellow and blue controllers with a docking station that includes popular Fortnite skins.
  • The Switch tablet itself will have characters on the back of it, too.

Fortnite will come immediately installed in the game. You will also receive 2,000 V-bucks and some exclusive items, according to The Verge.

  • The system has only been announced for Europe, Australia and New Zealand so far.

Will there be a U.S. version?

There’s no word on a U.S. version. But it could be a popular item, The Verge reports.

  • “This could be a popular holiday item, though — particularly for Fortnite obsessives who can’t play the iOS version on the go any more.”

There’s been some talk about Nintendo releasing a new Switch model for the holiday season to compete with the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X.

  • The system would likely have 4K graphics and computer-like power. There’s some reporting that the system would come with upgraded games, too.
